DSLR vs MFT
vs
Yes, this is exactly what I want to see.
I "was" a photography fan last time. I had gone through courses from the beginner to advanced. And I had some photography experience but put it into sleep after few decades.
I used to shoot night scenery at Harbour City and with my best friend Mr. Zero. I loved those moment when we will grab a beer and waiting in the cold weather. Did the "Bulb" setting and using a shutter cable to capture those light trails.
My first equipment was using my Dad's Olympus OM-10. Tell you a secret when I was young I used to carry that camera bag at home and pretend myself as Indian Jones stealing some precious gems inside the bag and jumping around. I did cause many damages to the camera. Well that's when I was I think 8 years old.
Never thought of that when I was 12 years old I followed my Uncle Lawrence to Sham Shui Po to attend photography classes. Seriously would I understand everything the instructor said? I guess I took away 50%.
After many years, I got my hands on the Nikon F-601 with a kit lens of 50mm - 210mm. All thanks to my Dad, it was still a film camera. (You can image how many years back)
So why am I talking about this here?
DSLR vs MFT is my dilemma. I wanted a DSLR few years back and I had decided to go for the Canon 550D. When I decided to pay for my purchases, the sales auntie persuade me that I should get the Olympus E-P1 instead. She said since you don't have much budget and the E-P1 is giving 2 lens. I took her advice.
I was very disappointed with the E-P1 because, I am very like to have a view finder and construct my picture. What I have on the E-P1 is LCD Screen (Low resolution kind).
Nevertheless, I managed to take some nice pictures but the feel is not there. And now I wanted something more, a Full Frame DSLR, but very soon my desire is gone. Because it is selling at S$2,500+ (Body only), and with a nice lens costing about S$1,400. Final bill will be S$3,900.00
This is way out of my league. I will plan to use my E-P1 to make some stunning shots.

Intern Mr. TKL
Friday was my intern's last day, well though I wanted him to go (because he was sitting too near me) but I did miss him some how. Wishing you all the best!

Mobile phones
When I first touched on the iPhone 3GS I love it. It is really a new innovation and make my life easier with very interesting apps. It has a sleek design, great music playing capabilities. After 2 years, the iPhone became bulky and that's the design I don't like. When it is time to change, I got an option of 4GS or the Samsung galaxy S2. I'm a person who loves to explore new products, so naturally I chose S2 over 4GS.
It is the extension of Galaxy s3. And I can see much more innovative and UI improvement comparing to S2. And with the Jelly bean it is much smoother and sleek. The stylus is a bonus whenever I like to write something. Though the screen is 5.5" but I want more.
I miss Apple iPhone Apps Appearance. I like it small but I hate the small screen. I hate the non innovative after the late Steve Jobs. So only if iPhone has a 5" screen if not I'll never go back to its camp.

周杰伦 and Tan Kia Liang
12 YEARS WITH JAY CHOU
Yesterday went to see Jay Chou's concert, it was such a big crowd.
It is always stressful to watch his concert, why?
1. It is bloody hard to get tickets from SISTIC.
2. The transportation to indoor stadium is a mess.
3. Finding seats at nearby shopping mall is hectic.
GETTING OLD
Overall his concert was not as good as last year. The back drop was not as stunning. I believe it is because he wants to maximize his profit by providing lesser and earn better. As you know nowadays singer artist earns very little in CD, the next move must be from the concert income. That's why you will see many concerts around.
Jay says, "it has been 12 years since he started his career." And then I realised it was 12 years ago Caral passed me his album and I like it straight away. From then, I was listening and working out along to his album everyday 6pm. (Of course I had stopped working out due to my back)
12 years! It was just like yesterday. Looking at his face can tell that he is older and got lines on his forehead. So 岁月不饶人.
J'S FIGURE
One thing I admire is his figure, but I always tell my wife that artist has obligation to keep in shape. It is their job just like we have to keep our skill sharp.
INTERNSHIP
Hooray! My intern student is leaving next Friday. I should have my privacy back.
His name is Kai Liang and he is from NTU. Well, I think he seriously should reconsider his career choice. I can't see his passion in aviation or maybe he is just too quiet. He got no initiative to ask me questions about aviation. And he said he knows everything. Very dangerous attitude.
You must be a "问题"少年 in order to learn. Just ask whatever you want to ask. Anyway, all the best to him. In the end he could be doing other job in banking and finance sector. Good luck!
